Colorado South Front Range Region

Colorado’s South Front Range Region is rich in both history and scenery. Manitou Springs, a federally designation National Historic District, sits between Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak and is the terminus of the thrilling Pikes Peak Cog Railway which offers a 3-hour, 8.9 mile trip that is picturesque as well as historically informative. Colorado Springs is a wonderful city surrounded by natural wonders, such as the Garden of the Gods and Seven Falls. Colorado Springs also offers a variety of dining experiences, theaters, museums, shopping, golfing, art galleries and more. Pueblo is home to the Colorado State Fair and is a fascinating destination for history buffs with over 40 buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Union Depot train station. From Pueblo, a recommended excursion is to the Royal Gorge where panoramic vistas and the world’s highest suspension bridge await.
